This policy explains how OXBLOOD collects and uses personal data when you book a table, enquire about private hire or visit this website.

What we collect

When you book a table, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the date and time of your booking, the number of guests and anything you write in the comment field.

When you enquire about private hire, we collect your name, email address, preferred date, number of guests and the details you share about your event.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this only to keep the website secure and running.

Allergies and dietary needs

If you tell us about allergies or dietary needs, this may count as health information. We only use it to prepare your visit safely, and only with your consent, which you give by writing it in the booking form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

Why we use your data

We use your data to confirm and manage your booking or enquiry (to fulfil our agreement with you), to keep accounting records (a legal obligation), and to protect our website from misuse (our legitimate interest). We do not use your data for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host and email provider. They process the data on our behalf and only as we instruct. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We delete booking and enquiry data 12 months after your visit or enquiry. Information we need for accounting, such as invoices for private hire, is kept for five years as required by Danish law.

Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work. If we ever add cookies for statistics or marketing, we will ask for your consent first.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email us at hello@oxblood.dk.

If you think we have handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to table bookings, private hire and gift cards at OXBLOOD, Blodgade 19, 1650 Copenhagen V, Denmark.

Table bookings

We take bookings for 2 to 8 guests. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. We hold your table for 15 minutes after the booked time. After that, we may give it to other guests.

Tables are booked for two and a half hours. If the table is not needed afterwards, you are welcome to stay longer.

Changes and cancellations

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to change or cancel your booking. For groups of 6 to 8 guests, we ask for 48 hours' notice. You can cancel by replying to your confirmation email or calling us.

Walk-ins

The bar is always kept for walk-ins and cannot be booked. Seats at the bar are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private hire

The whole bar can be booked for private events on Sundays and Mondays for 30 to 70 guests. A booking is confirmed once we have received a deposit of 30 % of the agreed price.

We need the final number of guests no later than five days before the event. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, we refund the deposit in full. If you cancel later, the deposit is not refunded.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. We accept all major payment cards and mobile payments. Menus, wines and prices may change without notice.

Allergies

Please tell us about allergies or intolerances when you book and again when you order. We do our best to adapt dishes, but we work in a small kitchen and cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of allergens.

Alcohol, children and dogs

We only serve alcohol to guests aged 18 and over and may ask for ID. Children are welcome until 20:00. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the bar and on the terrace.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be bought at the bar or by email in any amount. They are valid for two years from the date of purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Questions and complaints

If something is not right during your visit, please tell us straight away so we can fix it. For anything else, email hello@oxblood.dk. These terms are governed by Danish law.
